We warmly invite you to spend a unique and memorable Christmas with us at Glencoe House. The house takes on a special ambience at this time of year which starts as soon as you put your foot in the Great Hall with a 12 foot Christmas tree in the bay window and a fire roaring in the marble fireplace. The sense of occasion continues in your suite with an open fire glowing in the hearth and your own Christmas tree twinkling in your private sitting room. You may be aware that we do not have a formal restaurant in the hotel but rather we offer our guests the unique and relaxing experience of dining at your own dining table in the sanctuary of your suite.
On Christmas day in the Glencoe House suites, ease yourself into the festivities with a leisurely breakfast, which is served between 9-10.30am, so that you have time to open your presents first! A bracing walk will set you up for dinner although it is also tempting to relax in front of the fire. On Christmas day a six course dinner is served between 5.30-7.30pm; the cost of dinner is included in the rate of the suite.
Christmas day in the Bell Tower suites is extremely relaxed just prepare and cook your breakfast at your leisure whether it is locally sourced Inverawe smoked salmon with scrambled eggs or a full Scottish breakfast. Please note that dinners in the Great Hall will not be available on Christmas day but you can relax in your suite a enjoy the pre-prepared gourmet food in your freezer and fridge. Breakfast is included in the rate of the suite but dinner is not.
On Christmas Eve and Boxing Day we continue to offer evening meals between 7-8.30pm (there will be a service surcharge for dinner on Boxing Day). Please note that the cost for the dinner is not included in the rate of the suite. We only ask that you let us know before arriving if you plan to eat on the day of your arrival so we can make sure everything is perfect for you. For Bell Tower suite guests, unfortunately we are unable to provide dinner in the Great Hall on Boxing Day.
