We warmly invite you to spend a unique and memorable Christmas with us at Glencoe House. The house takes on a special ambience at this time of year which starts as soon as you put your foot in the Great Hall with a 12 foot Christmas tree in the bay window and a fire roaring in the marble fireplace. The sense of occasion continues in your suite with an open fire glowing in the hearth and your own Christmas tree twinkling in your private sitting room. You may be aware that we do not have a formal restaurant in the hotel but rather we offer our guests the relaxing experience of dining at your own dining table in the sanctuary of your suite.
On Christmas Day in the Glencoe House Suites, ease yourself into the festivities with a leisurely breakfast, just pick a time so that you have time to open your presents first! On Christmas day a six course dinner is served between 5.30-7.30pm; the cost of dinner is included in the rate of the suite.
Christmas Day in the Bell Tower Suites is extremely relaxed just prepare and cook your breakfast at your leisure; maybe Scottish smoked salmon with scrambled eggs. A sumptuous Christmas dinner in the Great Hall is available but must be pre-booked. Alternatively, relax in your suite and enjoy the pre-prepared gourmet food in your freezer and fridge. Please note that breakfast is included in the rate of the suite but dinner is not.
On Christmas Eve and Boxing Day we continue to offer in-suite dining for the Glencoe House Suites between 7-8.30pm and a memorable candle lit dinner in the Great Hall for Bell Tower Suite guests. Both decadent dining experiences in their own right.
Please note that the cost for the dinner is not included in the rate of the suite on these days and there is a small surcharge for dinner Box Day. We only ask that you let us know before arriving if you plan to eat on the day of your arrival so we can make sure everything is perfect for you. If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact us for further information.
Hogmanay / New Year
The Highlands of Scotland are renowned, and even notorious, for celebrating Hogmanay or New Year. Glencoe House provides a distinctive opportunity to bring in the New Year in the refuge of your own suite or for those who have something more lively in mind, we can arrange for you to join in the live music, dancing and fun down the road at the Clachaig Inn.
Dinner in The Great Hall, for the Bell Tower suites, will be unavailable on Hogmanay and the 1st January although relaxing in your suite with the pre-prepared gourmet meals is still an option. Please download the new years menus for the Glencoe House suites for further details (please note that there will be a surcharge for dinner on the 1st and 2nd January):
