Glencoe House, built by Lord Strathcona in 1896, sits majestically overlooking Glencoe, Scotland’s most famous Highland landscape. Glencoe House comprises fourteen generous private suites (from 75-148 sq. metres) and contains two distinctive concepts, both of which offer elegant but relaxed and sumptuous suites, with the space and privacy to really kick your shoes off and unwind. Glencoe House offers the convenience of on-site parking and in addition the house is fully accessible for disabled guests.

The Glencoe House Suites are situated in the mansion house where you occupy your own wing of the historic building and enjoy panoramic sea and mountain vistas. One or two-bedroom suites are available all boasting lavish bathrooms and a substantial sitting room, which encompasses an array of period features, together with the convenience of 21st Century technology.

A distinguishing feature of the Glencoe House suites is the unique dining experience. Breakfast and a candle lit three-course dinner are served at your private dining room table located in your suite. Dress up or dress down – the choice is yours – but you will enjoy an elegant restaurant experience but without fellow diners.

The Strathcona Lodges  at Glencoe House reside in a characterful building located just 50 metres from the mansion house. The Strathcona lodges contains 6 x one-bedroom suites where the ground floor comprises a comfortable sitting room with a wood-burning stove, a fully equipped kitchen complete with Range Oven and a luxurious bathroom with luxury toiletries. An elegant staircase takes you to the first floor mezzanine that contains a peaceful bedroom with en-suite WC. Each suite also enjoys the luxury of a private walled garden with hot tub and alfresco dining.

Dining in The Strathcona Lodges is extremely flexible. Guests can enjoy the delights of their kitchen and choose from the wide range of pre-prepared gourmet meals and simply slip them into the Range Oven and choose their accompanying wine or drinks from our ever-popular maxi bar; effortless indulgent, private dining without being disturbed by fellow guests or waiting staff.

Breakfast is also extremely private, a fridge stocked with your welcome breakfast pack and kitchen awaits you in the morning. A welcome breakfast pack is included, although guests have to prepare and cook their breakfast which has the advantage of allowing you to stay in your pyjamas and relax without being interrupted by waiting staff.
